Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data WavyDoc collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 2026-02-20

1. Summary

WavyDoc provides PDF tools and document merge workflows. We aim to process your files securely and keep data collection minimal. Do not upload highly sensitive information unless necessary.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: email, name (if provided), authentication identifiers (e.g., Google OAuth).
  • Usage data: job counts, page counts, basic diagnostics for reliability and plan limits.
  • Uploads: files you submit for processing. File handling depends on the tool and feature used.
  • Cookies: session cookies and essential preferences (e.g., theme).

3. How we use data

We use data to operate the service: authenticate users, enforce plan limits, process documents, prevent abuse, and improve performance and reliability.

4. File handling and retention

Files are processed to generate outputs. To reduce risk, we aim to retain uploads and outputs only as long as needed for processing and delivery. If you are signed in, some job metadata may be stored to show your history and usage.

Practical guidance: avoid uploading confidential IDs, passwords, or private keys. If you must process sensitive documents, do so using trusted devices and networks.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers required to run the platform (e.g., hosting, email delivery), under appropriate safeguards.

6. Your choices

  • You can request deletion of your account and associated data where applicable.
  • You can contact us to correct inaccurate account information.
